VMware VMworld Mainstage “Monster”
Playing on the main stage of VMworld and announcing a major partnership between Google, Nvidia and VMware, we knew this video had to grab attention.
The Task
After we were briefed on the project and the creative wheels started to spin, we thought about how this technology could be a game-changer for content creators like us—unlocking the ability to work from anywhere, on any device, even for graphics-intensive applications.
Monsters oh my!
So we open in the middle of an action movie with a 3D animated monster attacking a city, then cut back to a visual effects artist creating the entire scene on an impossibly under-powered Google Chromebook in a cafe powered by technology in the cloud.
